Quinns Rocks is a town in Western Australia around 24 miles from Perth. The Quinns Rocks suburb is a part of Wanneroo City. It was originally established in 1962 as a rural townsite to promote Quinns Rocks Beach.
Quinns Rocks has Jindalee to its north and Mindarie to its south. To its east is Marmion Avenue with Butler and Merriwa. As its western border, it has Quinns Rocks Beach facing the Indian Ocean. Flynn Drive and Neerabup Mine are situated at a reasonable distance from Quinns Rocks.
Quinns Rocks owes its name to assistant surveyor Robert Quin. He found this stretch of land along the offshore reef. The town presently has a population of over 9000. Quinns Rocks has a north-south arterial road cutting right across it called Marmion Avenue. This road links Quinns Rocks to Yanchep in the north and Perth in the south.
